1 year after receiving my doctorate:

• Gain status as an Assistant Professor; Be teaching graduate and undergraduate level courses; Continue contributing to my field with articles and lectures

3-5 years after receiving my doctorate:

• Continue to work my way through the ranks of higher education towards the rank of Associate Professor and Professor; Continue teaching at the graduate and undergraduate level; Continue contributing to my field with articles and lectures

10 years after receiving my doctorate:

• Be viewed as a leader in my field; Continue working with higher ed institutions, K-12 institutions, and educational organizations to have an impact on teachers and students
