Challenge #5

This challenge involves reading about tricks that are used in the math classroom and why we shouldn't be using them. 
What you need to do:

  1. ​Read Chapter 1 of the Nix the Tricks PDF. (5 pages)
  2. Select one of the Tricks in Chapters 2-7 and read about it. (1-2 pages)
  3. Draw a picture of the Trick you selected, take a photo of your picture, add your photo and and audio caption to Seesaw > Chasing Einstein - Pedagogy Quest. In your audio caption, explain what the trick is, why we shouldn't teach it, and how to fix it.

    The points earned will depend on how clearly you explain the trick and how to nix it. You can complete this challenge several times. Go ahead and do this for several of the tricks in the PDF!
