Congrats! You've unlocked this Quest.

Watch the video.
(I'm serious. Watch the video.)

WHY ARE YOU DOING THIS?

Content knowledge is important! In the math classroom, being confident about your math abilities can help you spend more time on math, ask better questions, do more problem solving activities with your students, and, most importantly, help you become more confident when you're in front of students. This quest is designed to help you reinforce your content knowledge by having you DO MATH!

WHAT DO YOU HAVE TO DO?

You have to master 90% of the 6th grade course in Khan Academy to earn the Content Badge and complete this Quest.

(That's it. Pretty simple.)

But...here are some important details:
  1. You'll receive a grade on this activity. You need to master 50% of the course by Feb 28th and 90% skills by April 3rd.

  2. In addition to working on this Quest as a part of your grade in the course, you can earn Einstein Points (EPs) for your team in Chasing Einstein. Khan Academy awards Energy Points for doing things within the online math program - watching videos, practicing problems, completing Mastery Challenges, etc. Your Energy Points will be converted to Einstein Points for Chasing Einstein. For every 4 Khan Academy Energy Points, you'll earn 1 Einstein Point. The maximum number of Einstein Points you can earn for this quest is 75,000. This would be equivalent to 300,000 Khan Academy Energy Points. (I'll let you know once you've maxed out your points.)

  3. What does all of this mean? Just work to master 90% of the 6th course by the due date. If you do that, you'll get an A on this assignment, receive the Content Badge, and you'll earn EPs for your Chasing Einstein team all at the same time. Most importantly, you'll be brushing up on your content knowledge.
