Challenge #3
Interview a Teacher

This challenge involves interviewing a teacher that you know that does a good job creating a positive classroom environment. This can be a college teacher or K-12 teacher. It can be a friend or family member.

You must conduct the interview in person, on the phone, or by video. You can't simply email teachers the questions. I want you to talk to them.
What you need to do:
  1. Find a teacher to interview. (Once a teacher has been interviewed, you can't do it again. For example, everyone can't go and interview Dr. Nash or Mr. Klumper.)
  2. Ask them the following questions.
    1. What is your name?
    2. What school do you teach at?
    3. How long have they been teaching?
    4. What are some specific things they do to create a positive classroom environment?
    5. What suggestions do you have for me to create a positive classroom environment?
  3. Add a note to Seesaw > Chasing Einstein - Classroom Environment Quest with your responses to the questions.
What you'll earn:
  • 500 - 1,000 EPs
The points earned will depend on the quality your interview.
