In this session, participants were introduced to generative AI—what it is, how it works, and how to use it effectively. We explored three key tips for success: treat GenAI as a helpful assistant (not an expert), provide strong context in prompts, and experiment with multiple tools. Participants practiced using GenAI to brainstorm lessons and activities, learn new concepts, grade assignments, create communications, and generate images. We also explored additional AI tools including Khanmigo, NotebookLM, and Suno.
